Naturally Low-Fat

Whilst essential fatty acids are necessary for optimal brain function, coat and skin health and as energy sources, it is also important that dogs maintain a healthy weight for their age, breed and size. This rabbit and turkey formula features premium cuts of rabbit and turkey which are naturally low in fat, perfect for dogs who are overweight or suffer from weight related illnesses. Supplementary superfoods such as salmon oil and coconut oil ensure that your dog still receives vital nutrients, such as fatty acids, for optimal health.

Commercially available dog foods can contain biologically inappropriate ingredients such as grains, which dogs find difficult to digest. This can lead to unpleasant side effects. Nutriments grain-free recipes ensure that each meal is easy to digest, so that nutrients are absorbed efficiently, and your dog can enjoy each meal in comfort.

Cooking processes and preservatives can damage the nutritional profile of dog food products. As their rabbit and turkey dog food is served and consumed raw, the nutrients are naturally preserved, meaning your dog can enjoy great flavour, texture and nutrition in one meal.

This Rabbit with Turkey Formula for dogs is a frozen raw meat product and must be stored and handled accordingly. Once defrosted this product will remain fresh for 3-4 days in the refrigerator.

Feeding Guide

Puppies should be fed 5-6% of their growing body weight and Adult dogs should be fed 2-3% of their ideal body weight.

This is only a guide. Some dogs may need, more or less to maintain proper weight. We recommend feeding any dogs over the age of 6 months twice a day. Depending on the breed of your puppy depends on the age they can move to adult formula, larger puppies can move over sooner, but still feed puppy rations until they are fully grown.

Puppies

After 6 weeks, you can start introducing Nutriment’s puppy food which is still very fine and a simple, bland food. By the time they reach 4 months, you can start introducing the normal formulas.
